Oracle's new E-Business R12 Tax Engine

Key Features:
  • Comprehensive transaction tax calculation, tax rules management, and tax reporting engine
  • Configuration owners allow to share rules amongst OU's
  • Tax reports are XML-based: Tax reports are 1 data set: 10 layout templates: 30 translation files
  • TCA Geographical Hierarchy is used to valid addresses in HR, AR, and AP
Sabrix functionality will need to be tested in R12 because it is not supported or certified by Oracle.
