I just read a great document on Fusion, but had to pull out my Oracle Acronym dictionary to get through it. Thought I would post these acronyms on my blog to educate others.
FMW - Fusion Middleware
PIP - Process Integration Pack
AIA - Application Integration Architecture
HCM - Human Capital Management

Unfortunately, at Oracle, we tend to forget that not everyone understands our acronyms and we tend to go overboard on them. Here are a few others that you'll likely run into when reading about Oracle Financial Applications:
1. SCM = Supply Chain Management
2. CRM = Usually means Customer Relationship Management, but often refers to Channel Revenue Management also.
3. AT = Applications Technology
4. GRC = Governance, Risk & Compliance
5. ALM = Asset Lifecycle Management
6. T&E = Travel and Expense
